The Karoo is a large semi-arid region in South Africa, known for its open landscapes, quiet atmosphere, and unique variety of plant and animal life. It stretches across a large part of the country.
Roam's Karoo poster captures a striking red and orange sky as the sun dips below the horizon, marking the end of another hot Karoo day. A Pale Chanting Goshawk and two Ostriches form the birdlife of the scene, while a Sable Antelope moves slowly across the open landscape. In the foreground, we have a family of meerkats looking out from their perch on the rocky outcrops, enjoying the last light of day.
